Okay folks, here's an absolute must-hear!

This is the first time we're going to hear something from the new Prince Caspian OST, and my, my! It's SWITCHFOOT doing the song! :-D

According to NarniaWeb (thanks for the heads up),

"'This is Home' which will appear on the Prince Caspian soundtrack and probably in the end movie credits as well. You can hear the first half of the song or so here."

Enjoy!

Hm. How I get this stuff? The same way I get updates about writers and about places like Burma and Darfur and Tibet. :-D

The Magic of RSS and My Yahoo.com.

Although to tell you the truth? Sometimes it makes life boring. hehehe. I rarely search for anything anymore, I see it the moment it hits the net, with my first click giving me a quick overview...

I think on the average, I'm about 3 to 6 hours behind NarniaWeb.com, 24 hours behind inquirer.net, and about 3 hours behind CNN...I'm about 24 hours behind on various community newspapers that talk Narnia, and I suspect about a month behind any Jars of Clay news unless Neenah's brother posts about it, in which case I know within 8 hours. :-D

I'm wondering where this would fit it in - I mean in what scene, whatnot etc - because it sounds so modern, so earth-ly (if you know what I mean, Narnia being other-worldly) for Prince Capian. Not that I don't like switchfoot. I do =D

May is just around the corner, wahooo!

I'm excited for the Regina Spektor OST song though - if it's true. Go Regi!
diwanggising wrote on Apr 16
The scene? You know that moment in the story...

... where the words "cast (in order of appearance)" show up on the screen? :-D

It will certainly be played sometime during the movie, though. You will definitely hear the song SOMEWHERE. We know because there's another song on the track that is marked "not in the movie." So if THAT song was singled out...

The source for the Regina Spektor rumor is www.amazon.com.de <---- Amazon.com Germany. So while they could be wrong...

The thing is, there is some speculation that the site is wrong because while it cites Spektor, it does not cite Lisbeth Scott (the voice from the train scene early in LWW) and Scott has been definitively confirmed as a performer.

No word yet on whether Imogen Heap is or isn't definitely on this one, but we do know that she was doing some early work for the movie. She made a song and they didn't like it, so last we heard from Imogen Heap she was writing a new song.

Perhaps Regina is there because they didn't like Imogen Heap's new effort, either?

Hehehe. Last movie, a rumor came out that Evanescence' vocalist would be performing for the soundtrack. Considering how dark her performances tend to be, I suppose we're all glad that didn't happen? I dunno.

Whoa, Imogen Heap! Even if Regina's not in it, that's still yay for me haha =D

Imogen Heap...

I hope she eventually releases the first song she wrote. I heard it. It was good. Much too Dark for a family film, but good.
